‘’I travelled to Netherlands three years. I went there with my mum, dad and sister. It took two hours to get there by plane. We stayed in a hotel in Amsterdam. I visited Amsterdam, Den Haag, Rotterdam, and Scheveningen. I saw many interesting sights and beautiful parks, walked on the beach along the North Sea and saw the process of making the traditional Dutch clogs. The best part of the trip was visiting the largest garden in Europe – Keukenhof and the Artist ZOO. It was special to me because I love nature, animals and flowers. My favourite Dutch meal are the traditional mini pancakes.  I also learnt that the tulips do not originate from Netherlands but from Turkey and were imported into Netherlands. I would like to go back because it’s a really beautiful country and I love the flowers.’’

‘’I have visited Switzerland three times – summer ’17, summer ’23, summer ’24. I’ve been there with my mom and my grandma. It took us one and a half hour to get there by plane. I visited the Zurich’s Lake, main square and the city pools. I enjoyed swimming in the pools, shopping and eating their meat with French fries. I also met a friend there, her name is Alina. I find Zurich very beautiful, and I will definitely go back again. Maybe even the following summer.’’

‘’The best trip I’ve been to in Europe was the visit to London, England. I went there with my family, and we travelled for almost three hours by plane. I’ve seen a lot of museums, palaces, stores and restaurants. More specifically, we’ve visited Madam Tussauds, the British Museum, London eye, and we had a boat ride on the river Thames. We also went to the Shrek Museum and had a lot of fun. I ate pretzels and pretzeled pizza. I would like to go back with my friend when I will be older. ‘’

‘’This September I had a very interesting trip to Rome, Italy. I went there with my mum and dad by plane. It took us one and a half hours. The sights that impressed me the most are the Colosseum and the Vatican City. We visited many famous museum and places in Rome. I enjoyed in eating pizza and pasta as well. I learnt a lot about the history of Rome. Even thought the place was very exciting and interesting, I would like to visit some other place in the future instead of going back again.’’

‘’Last year, in October, I visited Portugal with my family and my grandmother. It took us six hours to get there by plane. We stayed in a hotel. We visited Lisbon, Porto, Fatima, Nazare, Santiago de Compostela.  The best meal I tried was pastel de nata – Portuguese egg tart pastry. I enjoyed flying by plane because that was the first time I did that. I learnt so much about their culture and that’s why I would like to go back.’’

‘’I visited the Vatican City with my dad. We were there for three days. We visited the Chapel of St. Peter and the Vatican Museums. We ate pizza and pasta and listened about the history of Vatican and Rome. I learnt a lot about their culture, but I would like to go there again because there’s still a lot to see and learn.’’

‘’Two years ago I visited London with my mom and some of our friends. We did a lot of sightseeing: Big Ben, the London Eye, the Tower Bridge, three museums, the Buckingham Palace, Madame Tussauds, and the Prime Meridian. We also did some other activities like shopping, ice skating, river riding and we visited the Upside-Down house. I must admit I like Madame Tussauds the most because it looks like the celebrities are real.  I also ate a burger and fries. This trip taught me it’s important to travel as much as possible and meet new places and cultures. I’ll go back definitely.’’

‘’I visited London with my family this summer. We visited Big Ben, the Tower Bridge, London Eye, and the Sky Garden.  I finally tasted their famous fish and chips, and I loved it.  I especially like the Meta office because there’s a lot of place to eat, play and study. I especially like London because it’s one of the biggest cities in the world and I would like to go back and experience everything once again.’’
